Outdoor activities in Bannau Brycheiniog and the Wye Valley
Inspire2Adventure offers stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), gorge scrambling, rock climbing and kayaking in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, the Wye Valley and Monmouthshire. Based near Monmouth, the team runs instructed experiences at different outdoor venues.
You can paddleboard or kayak on the River Wye, scramble through a gorge near Abergavenny, or try outdoor rock climbing. Half-day sessions and combined full-day adventures let you try one activity or put two together.
Individuals, families and friends are welcome, alongside schools, youth groups, workplace teams and stag or hen groups. The main activity programme is advertised for ages eight and over; check the individual experience for its requirements.
Activity and safety equipment, instruction and a briefing are provided. Discuss any access or additional support needs in advance, and check the swimming, fitness and clothing requirements for your chosen activity. Gorge scrambling, for example, requires participants to be swimmers.
