Nature, stories and shared experiences in the Black Mountains
Wild of the Words brings people together through nature, folklore, storytelling and practical outdoor experiences at Cwmffrwd Farm. Set within 22 acres near Cwmdu in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, the farm offers wildflower meadows, open views and space to step away from everyday routines.
Its seasonal programme includes nature-based events, Wild Woman days and opportunities to explore traditional stories and wilderness skills. Private workshops can also be arranged for groups looking for an experience shaped around their interests.
A distinctive setting for group gatherings
The farm welcomes team days, celebrations, hen parties, schools and youth groups. Available spaces include an outdoor fire circle, an 18-foot tipi and a covered parachute area set among the meadows. A sauna and additional activities can be included by arrangement.
