Welcome to Meadowview Farmhouse

Meadowview Farmhouse is a 16th-century Welsh longhouse in Llanspyddid, about a mile from Brecon in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. It sleeps up to ten guests in five bedrooms and has three bathrooms, making it a practical base for families, walking groups and friends travelling together. Smaller groups can ask Sue about booking fewer bedrooms while still having the house to themselves.

The bedrooms include an en-suite king-size room, a double room, two zip-and-link rooms that can be arranged as kings or twins, and a twin room. There is also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a downstairs shower room. The lounge has a wood-burning stove and Smart TV, alongside a separate dining room and a farmhouse kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge and freezer. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided.

Outside are a large enclosed lawn, seating, a charcoal barbecue and parking for several vehicles. Cyclists and paddlers can use secure bike and canoe storage. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. Pets are not accepted, and the cottage’s electricity supply must not be used to charge electric vehicles. Contact Sue about access needs and group plans before booking; the house rules do not permit parties or events.

Brecon’s shops, cafés and canal are close by, with walking on Mynydd Illtud and routes into the central Beacons within reach. For a larger group, Meadowview Farmhouse and nearby Arch Cottage can be booked together for up to thirteen guests across seven bedrooms. Check the owner’s availability calendar or ask Sue to help with dates and bedroom layouts.
