Welcome to Ein Trysor Cudd – The Pencerrig Collection

Set in the peaceful village of Pontsticill on the southern edge of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, Ein Trysor Cudd is a luxury wood cabin designed for couples seeking a quiet, scenic escape. Surrounded by valley views and close to reservoir paths, waterfalls and hillside trails, it offers a cosy base for exploring the southern reaches of the National Park.

The cabin features a spacious open-plan sleeping and dining area, with a comfortable double bed and soft furnishings that create a warm, relaxing atmosphere. A separate, well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for simple self-catering, with a separate bathroom alongside. Outdoors, a copper bathtub looks out over the valley, alongside private seating and a barbecue area for evenings at the cabin.

Within walking distance are two friendly Pontsticill pubs serving home-cooked meals, while Merthyr Tydfil, BikePark Wales and local adventure centres lie just a short drive away. The cabin welcomes one well-behaved dog, and on-site parking is shared with the neighbouring cabin. Steps lead to the elevated decking, and the cabin’s doors are smaller than standard.

With its quiet setting, thoughtful design and far-reaching views, Ein Trysor Cudd offers a gently indulgent hideaway for walkers, cyclists and anyone looking to slow down and reconnect with nature.
