Welcome to Beacons Bluff Escapes

Beacons Bluff Escapes has six self-contained glamping cabins beside a lake on a working farm near Erwood and Builth Wells in Mid Wales. It is a base for exploring The Begwns, the Black Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), with walking routes and countryside around the site.

Each cabin sleeps a maximum of two adults in a double bed, with a double sofa bed for up to two children on request. There is a kitchenette with a two-ring hob, microwave and fridge, a dining table, and a private shower room with toilet and basin. Outside are seating, a barbecue and a fire pit. Some cabins have wood-fired hot tubs; choose the named cabin and check its facilities and inclusions before booking.

The shared barn has a pizza oven, barbecue, games and seating, and there is a children’s play area and football goal. Guests can use the lake for swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding, subject to site rules and conditions; lake use is at your own risk. Ask about equipment and supervision, and keep children supervised beside the water.

The family-run site welcomes dogs and offers Wi-Fi and parking. Contact the owners about dog arrangements, access, towels, firewood and any extras before booking. Tree planting and care for wildlife are part of the owners’ approach to the farm. Check live availability online, or enquire directly about a stay with family or friends.
