Good Day Out – Animal Experiences
Good Day Out – Animal Experiences
Good Day Out offers small-group, hands-on animal experiences across Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Spend quiet time with well-cared-for farm animals, guided by trainers who put their welfare first.
Choose pig walks in the Senni Valley, with a Pignic option that includes drinks and cakes; mini-donkey walks with a light picnic or agility games near Sennybridge; or a sheepdog session on a working farm in Cwmdu, near Crickhowell. The three profiles below explain what each experience involves and take you to its booking options.
Sessions are mainly attended by animal-loving adults, with small join-in groups and private experiences available. Children’s age and supervision arrangements differ between activities, so check the individual details before booking. Ask the team which session best suits your group and any access or mobility needs. Weather, ground conditions and the animals’ welfare can affect the arrangements.
All experiences must be booked in advance. The pigs, donkeys and sheepdogs are at different locations, and full meeting-point directions are sent after booking: this is not a single visitor farm you can drop into. Use the current owner website for dates, prices, additional experiences and gift vouchers. Good Day Out donates part of each sale to good causes.
