Welcome to Argoed Lwyd – Outdoor Activities, Group Stays and Team Building

Argoed Lwyd Outdoor Education Centre brings together outdoor activities and group accommodation at Libanus, near Brecon and Pen y Fan in Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. It welcomes families, schools, youth and community groups, and corporate teams for day visits and longer stays.

Corporate and team-building groups can arrange an activity day or a residential package with the centre. Share your group’s aims, size and experience with the team to plan a visit that suits you, whether you want time outdoors together or a programme of shared challenges. Activities range from canoeing, caving and climbing to gorge walking and guided mountain walks, with qualified instructors and specialist equipment provided.

For residential visits, the Farmhouse, Longbarn and linked Annex offer bunkhouse accommodation for up to 56 people across the whole centre. Groups can discuss self-catering stays or packages combining accommodation and activities. Drying rooms, bike storage and shared indoor and outdoor spaces make it a practical base for an active visit.
