Run by British Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association (BHPA) Chief Flying Instructor and former Royal Navy Search and Rescue pilot Alistair Andrews, the school combines decades of aviation experience with a strong commitment to safety and personalised instruction. Whether you’re taking your very first tandem flight or developing your paragliding skills, every experience is tailored to your ability, goals and the day’s flying conditions.

Tandem flights are the perfect introduction to free flight, giving you the opportunity to soar above some of the UK’s finest flying sites with an experienced pilot. For those looking to learn, the school offers structured training courses, performance coaching, cross-country guiding and specialist instruction for qualified pilots. Flying locations are carefully selected according to the weather, with access to around 30 sites across Bannau Brycheiniog, the South Wales Valleys and the Gower, ensuring the best possible conditions whenever you fly.

Crickhowell itself provides an excellent base for your adventure. After your flight, explore the town’s award-winning independent shops, cafés and restaurants, or extend your stay to discover walking, cycling and outdoor adventures throughout the National Park.
