Pwll Court Retreat
Pwll Court Retreat
Pwll Court Retreat brings three converted barns together for a group stay in Llangynidr, between Crickhowell and Brecon. The Stables, The Horseshoe and The Coach House can accommodate up to 12 guests across five en-suite bedrooms. Different bed arrangements make it possible for extended families or friends to share a break without everyone needing the same sort of room. Each barn has its own kitchen and garden area, while a dining table for 12 gives the group a place to eat together.
The accommodation is set up for time together as well as space apart. Guests can use the swim spa, barbecue, firepit and games, with a converted horsebox cocktail bar available by arrangement. There is room outdoors across the grounds, plus parking and two EV charging points. Children are welcome. Dogs can come too, subject to the owner’s limits; as sheep may be in the surrounding fields, dogs need to stay on a lead outside. These practical details matter when organising a multi-generational or dog-friendly stay.
Llangynidr has pubs, a café and a shop within walking distance of the retreat. The River Usk and the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal are also nearby, offering gentler ways to explore the area before heading further into Bannau Brycheiniog. Walking, cycling and watersports are among the possibilities around the village, while Crickhowell provides another place to browse independent shops and eat out.
Pwll Court Retreat is primarily designed for group bookings, though the owner may accept smaller parties at quieter times.
