Welcome to Arch Cottage

Arch Cottage is a two-bedroom barn conversion for one to three guests in Llanspyddid, about a mile from Brecon in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Part of the Meadow View Brecon farm accommodation, it suits couples, a small family or two people wanting separate bedrooms, as well as people working locally.

Inside are a king-size bedroom and a second bedroom with a small 4ft double bed, plus a bathroom with a shower over the bath. The lounge has a wood-burning stove and Smart TV, and the kitchen includes a fridge-freezer and dishwasher. Original stone walls and oak beams remain. There is a wooden spiral staircase and a low beam on the upstairs landing, so check suitability with Sue if anyone has mobility needs.

The private lawn and patio have outdoor seating, with parking beside the cottage and a charcoal barbecue available. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are provided. Access is directly from the A40, so some traffic noise may be heard. Pets are not accepted, and electric vehicles must not be charged from the cottage’s electricity supply.

Nearby Brecon has independent shops, cafés and the canal, while Mynydd Illtud and the central Beacons offer walking routes. Arch Cottage and Meadowview Farmhouse can be booked together for a larger group. Use Arch Cottage’s own availability calendar or contact Sue to discuss dates and bedroom arrangements.
