Cambrian Escapes, New York
New York is a 19th-century coach-house conversion for two at Cambrian Escapes, on a nature-rich farm at Penstacan near Cilycwm and Llandovery. It has a king-size bed in a mezzanine bedroom, with exposed A-frame beams and views of the surrounding hills. A baby in arms is welcome, with a cot provided.
The open-plan living space has a wood burner, a window seat and a handmade kitchen with beech worktops and a dual-fuel cooker. Reclaimed stained-glass windows and vintage furnishings add character. The bathroom has a double-ended slipper bath with a hand-held shower attachment.
Outside are a private veranda with seating and a chiminea, plus a small garden. Walks lead out from the farm, and there is parking, Wi-Fi and secure bike storage. One dog aged at least one year is welcome; guests can use an enclosed dog field and hot and cold dog showers. Check the owner’s current information and booking conditions before arranging your stay.
