Welcome to Cantre Selyf – The Wing
The Wing is a self-contained part of Cantre Selyf, a Grade II listed townhouse behind a walled garden on Lion Street in central Brecon. With its own entrance, it gives up to four people space to stay together, cook and settle in after a day out. There is one double and one twin bedroom, each with an en-suite shower, so the layout works for friends, two couples or a small family who want a town-centre base.
The kitchen gives guests the option to make their own meals, while the living room has a wood-burning stove for evenings in. Wi-Fi, private parking and access to the garden are also part of the stay. The Wing does not accept pets. Its combination of townhouse character and practical facilities makes it useful both for an active break and for spending time in Brecon itself.
From Lion Street, you can reach the High Street, shops, cafés and restaurants on foot. Brecon Cathedral and the canal offer different ways to spend time close to the house. The canal towpath is a pleasant route for a walk without driving out of town, while the wider walking and cycling possibilities of Bannau Brycheiniog are within reach from Brecon.
