Welcome to Fforest Fields Cottage and Fforest Lodge
Ffynnonau Cottage and Fforest Lodge offer two self-catering stays on the Fforest Fields farm near Hundred House and Builth Wells. Set in the Radnorshire hills north of Bannau Brycheiniog, they give you your own indoor space while keeping the farm’s walking trails, woodland and lakes close at hand. Both are part of the wider Fforest Fields accommodation family, alongside camping and lakeside yurts.
Ffynnonau is a detached stone cottage sleeping five, with a main bedroom, a twin room and a single bedroom. There is a kitchen, separate dining room and utility area, and a sitting room with a wood-burning stove. The bathroom has a bath and shower, with a further toilet upstairs. Outside, a terrace looks across the valley, while an enclosed rockery garden has a stream and mature trees. There is parking for two cars.
Fforest Lodge, formerly Moat House, sleeps up to three in a main bedroom and a smaller second bedroom. It has a kitchen and living area, a paved patio and an enclosed garden. The lodge welcomes well-behaved dogs and sits in the main farmyard, with views across the Edw Valley and a short walk to the campsite and lake.
Guests in both properties can explore the farm and Aberedw Hill on foot and use the shared campsite facilities. The seasonal coffee shop offers a place to pause after a walk, and the nearby towns of Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells provide shops and further places to explore. A self-catering stay leaves room for days in the wider Mid Wales countryside, with Bannau Brycheiniog and the Elan Valley as further outings.
