Welcome to Cambrian Escapes, Glan-yr-Afon

Glan-yr-Afon sleeps four in a converted woollen mill at Penstacan, near Cilycwm and Llandovery. This dog-friendly cottage is on a farm with a rewilding project at the foot of the Cambrian Mountains. The ground-floor bedroom can be arranged with a super-king bed or twin beds, and the upstairs bedroom has a king-size bed. There is a walk-in shower downstairs and a roll-top bath upstairs.

The open-plan living space has a wood burner, a large dining table and a reading nook. Outside, there is a private wood-fired hot tub beneath an oak tree, a veranda, a firepit and space to eat outdoors. A stream runs through the garden and is not fenced, so children and dogs need close supervision. There are also two low doorways inside the cottage.

Up to two dogs aged one year or older are welcome. Guests can use the dog-walking field and dog showers, and there are walks from the door. Wi-Fi, parking and bike-washing facilities are provided; ask the owners about secure bike storage and any particular requirements before booking.
