Stop for a drink or something to eat at Parkwood Outdoors Dolygaer, overlooking Pontsticill Reservoir on the southern side of Bannau Brycheiniog. The outdoor café is a handy pause for walkers and cyclists exploring this part of the National Park, as well as visitors taking part in activities or staying at the centre. You can also call in without booking an activity or accommodation.

The café operates from the reception area, serving hot and cold drinks, snacks and sweet treats made on site. Outdoor seating and a sun deck give you somewhere to take a break and enjoy the setting. It is an informal stop to build into your day, whether you are heading out towards the reservoir or returning from time outdoors.

Stone-baked pizzas add another option on selected summer evenings. Vegan and gluten-free options are available by request; check directly with the team about your requirements and the current menu before visiting. Opening and pizza-serving times can vary, so use the café website for the latest details rather than assuming evening food is available every day.

Dolygaer is also an outdoor activity centre with a choice of places to stay.
