Welcome to Camping at Penpont

Penpont’s Old Rose Garden offers quiet, informal camping beside the River Usk. There are no marked pitches: campers choose from small spaces among mature trees and shrubs or from a limited number of riverside spots around a central communal lawn.

The site is mainly for tents and is limited to 35 people, including children. Up to two small campervans can use the Orchard area, but there are no electric hook-ups or chemical-toilet disposal facilities. Hot showers, toilets, fresh water and a washing-up area are about 100 metres away in the Stable Block.

Campers can use raised fire pits, visit the farm shop and book the wood-fired riverside sauna. Fly fishing and swimming are also available on the estate; check Penpont’s live information and booking arrangements before your stay.
