The Angel Inn
The Angel Inn, Pontneathvaughan
The Angel Inn is a traditional country pub in Pontneddfechan, also known as Pontneathvaughan, close to the waterfall walks. It serves home-cooked pub food, real ales and drinks from Welsh producers, with a family-friendly restaurant and a separate bar.
The menu includes vegetarian and vegan options. Dogs and muddy boots are welcome in the Hikers Bar, where the pub provides dog blankets, treats and a doggy menu. There is also a large outdoor patio.
The pub hosts community events, including quizzes, craft workshops and themed evenings. Check its current calendar for dates. Larger gatherings and buffets can be arranged directly with the team.
The car park is for paying customers and uses number-plate cameras. Register your vehicle at the bar when making a purchase and follow the current parking instructions; it is not parking for a waterfall walk. Booking a table ahead is recommended at busy times. Check the pub’s website for current food-service and bar hours.
