Theatr B! Café is inside Theatr Brycheiniog at Brecon’s canal basin, a short walk from the town centre. Its waterside setting makes it a place to pause during a day in Brecon as well as somewhere to eat before a performance. Come in for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, with views towards the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and an easy route back into town.
The café serves breakfast and lunch, with menus for different times of day. It works equally well for a morning stop before exploring Brecon, a midday break after a canal-side walk or a relaxed coffee while you look over the theatre’s programme. You do not need to be attending a show to make the café part of your visit. The theatre also has a gallery, so there may be an exhibition to see while you are there.
On show nights and for special events, the café serves evening food. Pre-show tables need to be reserved through the box office, and antipasti platters can be pre-ordered for some film screenings. The theatre bar opens before performances and can arrange interval drinks separately. The café’s position by the canal makes it straightforward to combine food with a stroll along the towpath, time in central Brecon or an evening at the theatre.
