Pobl Bakery at Talgarth Mill
Pobl Bakery at Talgarth Mill
Pobl Bakery makes naturally leavened sourdough, slow-fermented yeasted breads and patisserie at Talgarth Mill. Alex and Kathy bake from scratch, using locally sourced fruit and Talgarth Mill flour where possible.
The bakery counter is part of the Mill’s cluster of independent businesses, alongside Trigg’s at the Mill café and the craft shop. Visitors can pick up bread and pastries, then explore the restored working watermill or spend time in Talgarth.
Baking starts early and popular lines can sell out. Pre-orders are available through Pobl Bakery, while Talgarth Mill’s live visitor information gives the latest opening arrangements.
Pobl’s place inside the working mill links the bakery directly to the story of local grain, flour and food in Bannau Brycheiniog.
