Welcome to Lakeside Camping and Caravan Park

Stay Beside Llangorse Lake

Lakeside Camping and Caravan Park sits beside Llangorse Lake, giving campers, tourers and caravan guests a front-row place to enjoy one of the most distinctive landscapes in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.

There are pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, including electric hook-ups and hardstanding options, alongside fully equipped static holiday caravans for visitors who prefer a little more comfort. Type A caravans sleep up to six people in three bedrooms; Type B caravans sleep up to four in two bedrooms.

But the lake is what makes a stay here different. Step beyond the campsite and you can spend time beside the water, hire a boat in season, go fishing or make the most of paddling and other water-based activities. The changing light over the lake and surrounding hills gives the site a strong sense of place from first thing in the morning to the end of the day.

The park also has useful facilities close at hand, including an on-site shop and café, while the village of Llangorse and the wider Black Mountains are easy to explore from here.

Walkers, cyclists and families can combine time by the lake with days out across the National Park, while visitors looking for something more active can discover water activities in Bannau Brycheiniog and other outdoor adventures nearby.

For anyone who wants a camping or caravan stay where the landscape is part of the experience rather than simply the view beyond the pitch, Lakeside offers the rare chance to wake up beside Llangorse Lake and build the day from there.
