Explore Wales on Foot with Dragon Trails Walking Holidays

Dragon Trails organises guided walking holidays in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park and along the Pembrokeshire Coast. Its Bannau Brycheiniog breaks are based in Crickhowell, with the Black Mountains, central Beacons and Usk Valley within reach.

The four-night breaks are offered for groups of four to eight guests, with three days of guided walking. A Welsh-speaking guide shares local history and wildlife along routes that typically cover 9–12 miles over five to seven hours. Terrain ranges from canal towpaths to hill paths, so guests should be moderately fit and comfortable with hills.

Guests stay in a Crickhowell guesthouse, with breakfasts, packed lunches and evening meals arranged as part of the walking holiday. Confirm the accommodation, meal arrangements and current programme with Dragon Trails when booking.

Travelling alone, as a couple or with friends, you can join a small group and enjoy the company of other walkers. Check the current dates and discuss the routes, fitness requirements and any individual needs with Richard before reserving your place.
