Welcome to Books at The Dragon’s Garden

Books at the Dragon’s Garden is an independent bookshop and creative space on Llandovery High Street. Its shelves include nature writing, current affairs, art, food, travel, permaculture and gardening alongside fiction and children’s books in English and Welsh.

The shop also stocks Fair Trade gifts, cards and stationery, Franchi seeds and Niwaki gardening tools. Visitors can browse in person, order through the online shop or use its Bookshop.org page to support this and other independent bookshops.

Reading the Wild / Darllen y Gwyllt brings writers and readers together in Llandovery through talks, readings and workshops inspired by nature, place and the environment. The programme changes each year, so check the shop’s website for current events and opening information.
