Welcome to Toad and Snail Glamping

The Toad is a restored 20-tonne Great Western Railway brake van converted into self-catering accommodation for two near Crai in Bannau Brycheiniog (the Brecon Beacons). Original railway features sit alongside handcrafted oak and mahogany details, heating, Wi-Fi and charging points.

Inside are a bespoke double bed, a fitted kitchen with fridge-freezer and gas hob, a wood-burning stove, and an en-suite shower room. Bed linen, towels and local Myddfai toiletries are provided. Outside are a balcony, private decking and garden with seating and a fire pit. The private wood-fired hot tub is available throughout the year, although its use is weather-dependent.

The Toad is adults only and does not accept dogs. Off-road parking is available for one car. Check current availability and book through the owner’s website.
