Welcome to The Roost Merthyr Tydfil
The Roost Merthyr Tydfil is a small, family-run glamping site in Troedyrhiw, close to BikePark Wales and within reach of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. It has five cabins and one campervan space, with secure gated parking and Troedyrhiw railway station a short walk away.
The cabin options suit couples, families and small groups. The original cabins and Bodlawen sleep up to two adults and two children; ensuite Arosfa sleeps two adults and one child. Each cabin has private shower facilities, and most have a private kitchen or kitchenette. The campervan space is for vans up to 5 metres long and includes electric hook-up and its own shower room.
Facilities for cyclists and outdoor visitors include secure bike storage, a bike wash and maintenance area, a drying room and EV charging. Guests can also book private use of the on-site sauna space. Dogs are welcome, and group or exclusive-site bookings are available.
