Welcome to Hardwick Farm Bed and Breakfast

A Real Farm Stay just outside Abergavenny

Hardwick Farm Bed and Breakfast offers the chance to stay on a working family dairy farm just outside Abergavenny, with open views towards the Black Mountains, the Blorenge and the eastern edge of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons).

This is very much a working farm rather than countryside scenery created for visitors. Carol runs the B&B while the family continue farming around you, so grazing cattle, farm machinery and the rhythms of everyday dairy farming are all part of staying here.

There are two spacious en-suite guest rooms, Sugar Loaf and Blorenge, both with super king-size beds that can be arranged as twins. Comfortable chairs positioned to make the most of the views give you somewhere to slow down after a day out, while thoughtful touches such as fresh milk on the tea tray add to the relaxed farmhouse welcome.

Breakfast is a proper part of the stay. Carol is known for her generous farm breakfasts, giving guests a good start before heading into the hills, exploring the surrounding countryside or spending the day in nearby Abergavenny.

The location works particularly well for visitors who want both countryside and town within easy reach. The Blorenge, Sugar Loaf and Skirrid are all nearby, while Abergavenny brings independent shops, food, markets and events into the mix.

For visitors who want to experience a genuine working Welsh farm rather than simply look out over one, Hardwick Farm offers a warm, straightforward stay with family hospitality at its heart.
