Cantre Selyf offers two separate self-catering stays on Lion Street in the centre of Brecon, within the grounds of a Grade II listed townhouse. Choose between The Cottage, a garden bungalow for two, and The Wing, accommodation for up to four. Together they offer a choice of spaces for exploring the town and Bannau Brycheiniog, with shops, cafés and restaurants close at hand.
The Cottage sits privately towards the rear of the main house’s garden. Its single bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower, while a kitchen, lounge and underfloor heating make it a comfortable base for a couple. The Wing has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, each with an en-suite shower. It has its own entrance, kitchen, Wi-Fi and private parking, with a wood-burning stove for quieter evenings indoors. Pets are not accepted in The Wing, so compare the individual listings when choosing which accommodation suits your party.
From this central base, explore Brecon’s independent shops and places to eat, visit the cathedral or enjoy a walk beside the canal. The surrounding National Park offers further opportunities for walking and discovering the landscape.
