Glanpant Cottage – self-catering accommodation in Bwlch, Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park
Glanpant Bach is a two-bedroom self-catering cottage in Bwlch, between Brecon and Crickhowell. It sleeps up to four people, with a double bedroom and a second bedroom that can be arranged as a twin or double. One dog is welcome by prior agreement.
The cottage has a lounge with a wood-pellet burner and dining area, plus a kitchen with an oven, microwave, slow cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is an upstairs bathroom with a shower over the bath and a downstairs wetroom with a shower.
A south-facing patio looks towards the mountains and provides space to sit outside, enjoy a barbecue or watch the night sky. Private parking is available for two vehicles. A locked garage provides storage for bikes, a mobility scooter or other equipment, with an outdoor cleaning station.
Walks and cycle rides start from the door, while the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal and the mountains of Bannau Brycheiniog are within reach for a day out. The owners can suggest local routes and quieter walks.
Brecon and Crickhowell offer independent shops, cafés and places to eat, with Hay-on-Wye and Abergavenny among the options for days out. Check the owner’s website for availability, then contact them to arrange your stay.
