Cnewr Estate, Cnewr Farmhouse
Cnewr Farmhouse is a Grade II* listed self-catering house on a working farm near Crai, in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. It sleeps 14 in seven bedrooms, with a sofa bed for up to two additional guests by arrangement, making it a practical choice for family gatherings and groups.
The bedrooms include four doubles, two twins and one that can be arranged as either a double or twin. There are five bathrooms and two separate toilets. The large kitchen/diner has an Aga, a separate electric oven and hob, a dishwasher and a table seating 16. A formal dining room, sitting room and snug provide space to spend time together or spread out.
There are wood burners in the sitting room and snug, a pool table and television in the games room, and a separate laundry with a washing machine and tumble dryer. An outside boot and drying room is useful after walks. The enclosed garden has outdoor seating and a charcoal barbecue, with parking in the farm courtyard.
Guests have access to the estate for walking and mountain biking, and fly fishing on Cray Reservoir can be arranged through Cnewr Estate. Up to two dogs are welcome in designated parts of the house; check the current arrangements and charges when booking. Contact Rachel directly for availability and group sleeping arrangements.
