Welcome to Glamping at Parkwood Outdoors, Dolygaer

Wake up overlooking Pontsticill Reservoir in a glamping pod at Parkwood Outdoors Dolygaer, on the southern side of Bannau Brycheiniog. Five pods stand on raised wooden decks, offering a comfortable base for couples and families who want to spend time outdoors without bringing a tent.

Inside, electric heating, beds and a fold-away dining table make the space practical for a short break. Each kitchenette has an induction hob and fridge, so you can prepare simple meals between outings. Bedding is included. Pod layouts and permitted occupancy should be checked when booking, particularly if you are travelling with children or sharing as a group.

Outside, a picnic bench and fire pit give you space to sit together and enjoy the reservoir setting. Shared showers and toilets are a short walk away rather than inside the pods. Dogs are not accepted in this accommodation, so check the centre’s other options if you are planning to bring a pet.

Dolygaer is also an outdoor activity centre. You can arrange activities separately, with options such as paddleboarding, kayaking, canoeing, climbing and archery.
