Welcome to Top Floor at Cantref House

Top Floor at Cantref House is a self-contained apartment for two in a former rectory at Cantref, near Brecon, in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Its lounge, bedroom and balcony look towards Pen y Fan and Cribyn, with Cantref Church beside the house.

A private entrance is reached by 26 outdoor steps, so this is not step-free accommodation. Inside are a bedroom with a king-size bed, an adjoining shower room, a separate lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. Discuss the stairs and suitability for any children or mobility needs with host Sheila before booking.

The kitchen includes an oven, induction hob, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen and towels are provided, with Wi-Fi and a private parking space close to the staircase. There is seating on the balcony, and guests can also use the front lawn.

An information room has local maps, books and guides to help plan walks, cycle rides and days out. A telescope is available for enjoying the dark skies on clear nights. Check availability and current terms through the owner’s direct booking page, or contact Sheila with any questions before arranging your stay.
