Set within the 12,500-acre Cnewr Estate, Cnewr Farmhouse offers spacious, beautifully refurbished accommodation for up to 14 guests (plus 1–2 additional guests on a sofa bed), in a stunning Grade II* listed setting in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.

This historic working farm is an ideal base for family gatherings, walking holidays and relaxed countryside breaks. Step outside the front door and you’re on the estate, with direct access to mountain biking routes, fly fishing on Cray Reservoir, and miles of scenic trails to explore.

The house combines traditional character with comfort and space. There are seven bedrooms – four doubles, two twins, and one that can be set as a double or twin – with thick stone walls, interlined curtains and crisp Egyptian cotton bedding. Five bathrooms and two separate loos ensure plenty of space for everyone.

The large kitchen-diner is the social heart of the house, complete with a three-oven Aga, electric oven, American fridge freezer and dining table for 16. Elsewhere, the formal dining room, lounge with wood burner, snug, and games room (with pool table, Wii U and sofa bed) offer multiple areas for guests to relax.

Outside, an enclosed garden leads straight onto the farm, with walking, wildlife, and fresh air in abundance. Ideal for multi-generational holidays, walkers, and those wanting a real taste of Welsh countryside living, Cnewr Farmhouse offers the best of rural comfort in a breath-taking setting.
