Welcome to Taf Fechan Cottage – The Pencerrig Collection

A relaxed family cottage near Pontsticill Reservoir

Taf Fechan Cottage is a comfortable three-bedroom holiday home sleeping up to six guests, set in the village of Pontsticill in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. It’s a great choice for families or small groups looking for an easy-going countryside stay with plenty to explore close by.

The cottage has a warm, lived-in feel, with space to settle in and unwind. There’s a king-size master bedroom and a double bedroom, both with woodland views, alongside a smaller double bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. A family bathroom with a deep bath is ideal for soaking tired legs after a day out walking.

Downstairs, the spacious kitchen and dining area is the heart of the house — well equipped for shared meals and relaxed evenings, with doors opening straight out into the garden. The living room is cosy and comfortable, perfect for quieter moments together.

Outside, the tiered garden offers space to sit out and enjoy the surroundings, with woodland to the rear. Parking is available on the quiet private road outside the cottage.

Two friendly local pubs are just a short walk away, while Pontsticill Reservoir and the Brecon Mountain Railway are only minutes from the door. With Merthyr Tydfil a short drive away, Taf Fechan Cottage works equally well for active breaks or slower, laid-back stays.
