The Tower
The Tower, Glanusk Estate
The Tower sleeps two on Glanusk Estate near Crickhowell, in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. This self-catering apartment occupies the stone tower beside the estate’s bridge over the River Usk, with views of the river and surrounding hills.
There is one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, plus an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and wood-burning stove. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge. Bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are included.
Access is via 38 winding stone steps. This is not step-free accommodation, so check the staircase and layout with the estate team before booking if you have any access concerns. The staircase photograph gives a useful view of the route up to the apartment.
Parking is available, and dogs are welcome under the property’s current rules and restrictions. Check dog arrangements before your stay. Use the estate’s permitted walking routes and take care around the unfenced river.
