Camping and Caravanning at Dan-yr-Ogof
Camping and Caravanning at Dan-yr-Ogof
Brecon Beacons Camping and Caravan Park offers adults-only stays for guests aged 16 and over beside Dan-yr-Ogof at Abercraf. Set on the western side of Bannau Brycheiniog, it is a base for exploring the upper Swansea Valley, with mountain scenery around the site and the National Showcaves Centre for Wales nearby.
Choose the area that suits your equipment. The touring park accommodates caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents and roof tents, with fully serviced hardstanding pitches offering electricity, water and grey-water drainage. The separate camping field welcomes tents. A limited number of electric hook-ups are available there on a first-come, first-served basis, so they cannot be guaranteed.
Shared facilities include toilets, showers, washing-up areas and chemical disposal, plus a washing point for dogs and bikes. Wi-Fi reception is strongest around the central facilities. Laundry facilities and the coffee shop are available during the main season; check opening arrangements for your stay.
Up to two friendly dogs are welcome and must be kept on a short lead. This is a quiet site rather than a venue for noisy group gatherings. Read the park’s current rules before booking, especially if you are bringing an awning or planning outdoor cooking.
The camping field and touring park have different seasonal opening periods. Check the booking calendar for your dates and pitch type. Visits to the showcaves and other attractions are booked separately from accommodation.
Use the park’s online booking system for availability, or contact the team directly with questions about your unit, pitch or facilities.
