Pwll Court Retreat

Set in the village of Llangynidr near Crickhowell, Pwll Court Retreat is a relaxed countryside escape designed for groups who want space, comfort and time together. Sleeping 2–10 guests across five en-suite bedrooms, this dog-friendly retreat is ideal for extended families, multi-generational gatherings and laid-back friends’ weekends.

Accommodation is spread across three beautifully converted barns – The Stables, The Horseshoe and The Coach House – offering a balance of shared social spaces and private independence. Each cottage has its own kitchen, while a generous dining table for twelve creates a natural hub for shared meals, celebrations and long evenings together.

Outside, guests can enjoy separate garden areas, a swim spa, fire pit, barbecue and a converted horse-box cocktail bar – perfect for relaxed nights under the stars. The peaceful rural setting comes with far-reaching views, yet everything you need is close by, including pubs, a café, shop, canal and riverside walks all within easy walking distance.

Surrounded by the landscapes of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, Pwll Court Retreat is well placed for hill walks in the Black Mountains, watersports, cycling and exploring the independent shops and food scene of nearby Crickhowell.
