Welcome to Pentre Riding Stables, Accommodation

Pentre Riding Stables offers accommodation beside its farmhouse at Pen-y-cae in the Upper Swansea Valley. It is opposite Craig-y-nos Castle and close to Dan-yr-Ogof, with riding and other outdoor activities nearby. Singles, couples, families and groups can enquire about a stay.

The property lists three family rooms sleeping up to four people each and a double room sleeping up to two. Ask which room and bed arrangement will suit your party, and confirm the kitchen facilities and breakfast currently included in your booking.

The ground-floor room sleeps up to four and has a wet room, level access along a paved path and reserved parking alongside the accommodation. Upper-floor rooms are reached by stairs. Discuss your specific access requirements with Pentre before booking so the team can advise on a suitable room.

Group bookings and accommodation for guests attending weddings at Craig-y-nos Castle are welcome, subject to availability. Booking the whole property and flexible arrival times can be discussed directly with the team.

Pets and visitors travelling with their own horses can be accommodated by arrangement. Ask about current pet and stabling arrangements, dietary requirements and travel cots when booking. This is a working farm and riding yard, so expect animals and everyday farm activity.

The location gives access to walking, cycling and local attractions, with pubs and restaurants nearby. Pentre’s riding stables offers guided treks and lessons for different levels of experience; arrange riding separately with the team and confirm suitability before your visit.
