Welcome to Aber Cottages
Aber Cottages brings together Bryniau Pell and Hill Cottage at Aberhyddnant, a 200-acre organic hill farm near Crai in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Walk around the farm, enjoy the gardens and countryside views, or look for stars on clear nights. The two cottages can be booked separately or together, subject to availability.
Bryniau Pell sleeps six, with space for two infants and a separate nursery. There is a ground-floor super-king bedroom, which can be arranged as twins, with an en-suite wet room; the double and twin bedrooms are upstairs. Internal steps and the sloping farm setting mean guests should read the access statement and discuss their needs before booking. The cottage has a wood-burning stove, garden, play area and campfire space. Pets are not accepted in Bryniau Pell.
Hill Cottage is a stone-built Welsh longhouse for five, with a sixth sleeping place by arrangement and a cot for an infant. Its three bedrooms are upstairs. Downstairs are a kitchen and dining area, lounge with wood-burning stove, garden room and wet room. An enclosed garden leads off the garden room. Dogs and cats are welcome here and must be kept under control on the working farm.
Both cottages have Wi-Fi, EV charging and parking. Bed linen, towels, heating and logs are included. Ask about organic farm produce, short breaks and arrangements for bringing horses or ponies. Check each cottage’s page for its layout and access details; online bookings remain provisional until the owners confirm the stay and payment arrangements.
