Welcome to Carreg Cennen Castle Wedding and Events Space

Carreg Cennen Castle and Farm offers wedding ceremonies and receptions near Trapp and Llandeilo. The oak-framed Wood Shed has large windows looking towards the castle and Cennen valley, with space for ceremonies of up to 100 guests. In suitable weather, ceremonies can take place on the adjacent lawn. Ceremony-only bookings are also possible.

The Barn is available for wedding breakfasts and evening celebrations. The venue currently caters for 40–80 wedding-breakfast guests, with up to 120 guests in total for an evening celebration with drinks and lighter food. Wedding dates are limited, so contact the team to discuss availability and the arrangements for your group.

Couples can arrange photographs in and around the castle, while guests enjoy drinks and refreshments. The catering team offers seasonal sharing menus using locally sourced ingredients; discuss dietary requirements, drinks and evening food as part of your plans.

The site also hosts daytime family occasions, naming ceremonies, conferences, courses and team-building events. The team works with television, film and publishing crews looking for a location. Refreshment packages are arranged by the venue; it does not allow visitors to provide their own refreshments.

The castle and tea rooms remain open to the public during weddings, while the buildings hired by the wedding party are kept private and the castle footpath is diverted during ceremonies. Contact the team to arrange a viewing and confirm the spaces, guest numbers, access and catering that suit your event.
