Welcome to Wild Trails Wales

Explore Wales with Wild Trails Wales

Wild Trails Wales offers private guided walks, navigation and outdoor-skills coaching, and nature-connection experiences in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) and across Wales. Choose a mountain, coastal or lowland day shaped around your interests, experience and pace.

Guide Nia is a qualified Mountain Leader and Lowland Leader, with Remote Emergency First Aid training. She is also a Bannau Brycheiniog and Eryri ambassador. Private days are available for individuals, pairs and small groups, with larger groups and overnight trips by enquiry.

Build confidence with personalised sessions covering map reading, compass use, route planning, terrain and weather. These can help you prepare for a challenge, return to walking after a break or develop the skills to plan your own days out.

Nature-connection sessions take a slower approach, with mindful walking, time for reflection, and local stories and creativity. Nia can also advise on equipment and has spare kit to borrow; discuss what you need before your visit.

Wild Trails Wales follows Leave No Trace principles and encourages respect for wildlife, landscapes and local communities. Contact Nia to agree a suitable experience, meeting point and practical arrangements, or check the website for current group walks.
