Welcome to Penderyn Community Centre – Events and Room Hire

Meetings, local events and private gatherings share the spaces at Penderyn Community Centre, in the village on the southern side of Bannau Brycheiniog. You can come along to an advertised activity or hire a room for your own group, from a small workshop to a larger celebration.

The community programme includes social gatherings, classes, workshops and seasonal occasions. Events vary through the year rather than following a fixed visitor timetable. The centre’s Facebook page is the main route for current announcements, including the dates and arrangements for individual events. Any attendance or booking requirements belong to the event being advertised.

For your own occasion, the main hall seats up to 80 people and can divide into two rooms accommodating up to 40 each. That offers a choice between bringing a whole group together and using smaller spaces for meetings, training or workshops. The room layout and capacity suitable for your plans should be agreed with the centre when enquiring.

Interactive screens and Wi-Fi are available, alongside on-site parking and catering options. Organisers can discuss presentation needs, refreshments, access requirements and the practical details of setting up their event. Equipment shown in photographs illustrates particular events rather than a guaranteed package included with every hire.

The setting keeps a gathering connected to Penderyn village and the southern National Park, whether people are travelling in for a working day or meeting during a longer stay nearby. The community centre overview also introduces The Hiker’s Hub café and the centre’s wider role in village life.
