Welcome to Coity Bach Farm – Cottages, Glamping and Camping

Coity Bach Farm is a working smallholding near Talybont-on-Usk in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Its cottages, lodges, traditional-style gypsy caravans and camping offer different ways to stay on the farm, with views towards the Black Mountains and walking and cycling routes nearby. Explore the cottage and glamping profiles below, then choose the exact accommodation that suits your group.

For a cottage stay, Peacock Cottage sleeps up to eight in three bedrooms, including an upper sleeping area with reduced headroom. Ty Fferm Hen sleeps up to six using one large open-plan bedroom and a sofa bed downstairs, with an old stone spiral staircase between floors. Both have their own hot tubs and outdoor space; the individual cottage profile explains their layouts in more detail.

Smaller stays include Ty Olwyn Bach, a lodge for two with a fold-down double bed, kitchen and shower room, and Ty Gwenyn, a converted carriage with a double bed, small kitchen, toilet and basin. Traditional-style caravans use shared facilities. Other lodges and wild field camping are also listed on the owner’s website. Facilities, access, sleeping arrangements and hot-tub provision differ, so check what is included with your chosen stay.

The farm welcomes families and dogs, with arrangements to discuss when booking. Ask about breakfast hampers, farm produce and experiences, as well as cycle storage and washing facilities. Talybont-on-Usk is about half a mile away, with the canal, shops and places to eat; the Taff Trail, reservoir and waterfalls give you more to explore.
