The Bear Hotel is a family-run former coaching inn on Crickhowell’s High Street, in Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. It has welcomed travellers for more than five hundred years and combines its historic character with thirty-five individually furnished rooms, a restaurant and a well-used local bar.
Choose from rooms in the original inn or more modern courtyard and garden settings, with options ranging from Cosy to Very Best. Double and twin rooms generally sleep two, while the booking system also offers a Better Twin for up to four. Confirm the bed layout, any extra bed or cot, and the room features you want when booking; some rooms have spa baths or four-poster beds.
Wi-Fi and on-site parking are available. Dogs are welcome in many rooms for an additional charge, but not in the unique feature and four-poster rooms, so arrange a suitable room in advance.
