Welcome to Glyntawe Outdoor Centre

Glyntawe Outdoor Centre brings together group accommodation, self-catering facilities and outdoor activities at Pen y Cae, near the southern edge of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.

Groups can stay in a 35-bed centre with bunk rooms, smaller rooms and en-suite options, shared social spaces, a commercial kitchen and dining room. Stays can be self-catered or arranged with catering, and the centre also offers a secure drying room for outdoor kit and equipment.

Activity programmes can be tailored for schools, families, Duke of Edinburgh groups and other organised groups. Options include gorge walking, hillwalking and navigation, stand-up paddleboarding, rock climbing, caving and evening challenges, depending on the group and conditions.
