Guild Hall

The Guildhall Stage is one of the key venues at Brecon Jazz Festival 2026, bringing live music to the heart of Brecon from 6–9 August. Set within the town’s historic Guildhall, the programme combines contemporary jazz, original commissions and acclaimed performers in an atmospheric setting within Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park.
This year’s line-up includes a specially commissioned performance from local double bassist Ursula Harrison, alongside contemporary jazz group Phoenician Blinds and the Olivia Cuttill Quintet. Jon Crespo’s “Beyond Armstrong” explores the influence of Louis Armstrong, while Trunk of Funk brings energetic jazz-funk fusion to the festival weekend.
The Guildhall Stage continues to be one of the highlights of the Brecon Jazz Festival experience.

Theatr Brycheiniog

Theatr Brycheiniog hosts some of the headline performances of Brecon Jazz Festival 2026, bringing internationally recognised artists and contemporary jazz to the heart of Brecon.
This year’s programme includes British jazz icon Courtney Pine, acclaimed vocalist Liane Carroll and the vibrant sounds of Orphy’s P Funk Collective. Welsh trumpeter Tomos Williams presents his contemporary interpretation of Welsh folk traditions, while Emma Smith and Francesca Tandoi bring an acclaimed vocal and piano collaboration to the festival.
Set beside the canal within Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, Theatr Brycheiniog continues to be one of the festival’s key venues and highlights.

The Muse

The Muse Arts Centre brings an intimate and creative atmosphere to Brecon Jazz Festival 2026, with live performances running from 6–9 August in the centre of Brecon.
The programme blends jazz, funk, blues and swing, featuring returning festival favourite Dionne Bennett alongside Grounded Thread’s inventive mix of jazz and live tap percussion. Visitors can also enjoy gypsy jazz from Hot Club Gallois, energetic funk from Jack Mac’s Funk Pack and contemporary jazz from the Jack Pearce Quintet.
Known for its welcoming atmosphere and close connection between performers and audiences, The Muse remains one of the festival’s most distinctive and atmospheric stages.
