Marina View is the largest of the four self-catering cottages at Ty Newydd Holidays, a charming farmhouse courtyard retreat just four miles south of Brecon. With the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal meandering past and panoramic views of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), this peaceful setting is ideal for walking, cycling and exploring the National Park.

Sleeping up to six guests, this spacious barn conversion offers three large bedrooms – two with king-size beds and one twin – and two family bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and one with a bath and shower over. The barn dates back to the mid-1700s and retains its traditional character, with high ceilings, exposed beams and oak furnishings, combined with modern touches throughout.

Downstairs, the open-plan living and kitchen area is perfect for socialising, with comfortable sofas, a flat-screen TV, and a large oak dining table for relaxed meals or games. Underfloor heating keeps it cosy in colder months, with radiators and soft carpets upstairs.

Outside, a private enclosed garden offers lawn, patio, BBQ and countryside views. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Allocated parking for two cars, secure bike storage, excellent WiFi and an on-site EV charger (usage charges apply) complete the package for a relaxing and well-equipped rural escape.
