Welcome to Llandyfan Camping

A Peaceful Base for Nature Lovers

Tucked on the edge of Llandyfan, just west of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, Llandyfan Camping offers a peaceful countryside escape for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike. Established in 2024 by Andy and Jo, this welcoming off-grid site combines eco-friendly living with the simple joy of sleeping under the stars.

The campsite accommodates tents, campervans, caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and roof-top tents. For those seeking a glamping touch, three pods and a log cabin provide extra comfort while maintaining a close connection to the outdoors. Facilities include free showers, toilets, and hot-water dishwashing, while raised BBQs and fire pits are encouraged — with hire and firewood available on-site.

Running on wind and solar power, the site reflects a strong commitment to sustainability. Friendly, free-roaming chickens add to the charm, often wandering by to say hello. A local pub, the Square and Compass, is just a 15-minute walk away, perfect for relaxed evenings. Guests can also enjoy the one-acre fishing lake, stocked with carp and tench — ideal for campers and day visitors alike.

Whether you’re here for a tranquil getaway or a spot of fishing, Llandyfan Camping is a serene, eco-friendly base for exploring the Welsh countryside.
