Dragonfly Cottage is one of four self-catering cottages at Ty Newydd Holidays, a welcoming farmhouse courtyard just four miles south of Brecon. With the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal winding past and panoramic views towards Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), it’s a peaceful and well-located base for walking, cycling and exploring the National Park.

Once a coach house, this single-storey stone cottage has been thoughtfully converted to offer Four Star (Visit Wales) comfort for up to four guests. It features a king-size double room and a twin, both with oak furniture and quality bed linen, plus a modern bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

The vaulted ceilings and exposed beams give a sense of space and character, while the open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area adds a modern touch. With a wood-burner, comfy seating, flat-screen TV, Blue-ray player, and a fully equipped kitchen, the cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay.

There’s private parking for two cars, secure bike storage, a patio area, and space for one well-behaved dog. WiFi is available throughout, and EV charging is offered on site (charges apply).
