Explore Wales on Foot with Dragon Trails Walking Holidays

For over 20 years, Dragon Trails has been welcoming walkers to experience the beauty of Wales through guided holidays in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park and along the Pembrokeshire Coast.

From a comfortable base in the historic town of Crickhowell, Dragon Trails offers 4-night walking breaks that take in the varied landscapes of the Black Mountains, central Beacons and Usk Valley. Led by an experienced Welsh-speaking guide, these small group walks (typically covering 9–11 miles a day) offer the chance to discover panoramic views, rich local history, and the natural beauty of the national park at a relaxed pace.

Accommodation is provided in a welcoming 4-star guesthouse in Crickhowell, with all meals included – breakfasts and packed lunches, evening meals with your hosts, and local pub suppers. Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple, or with a group of friends, Dragon Trails offers a sociable and accessible way to explore the region.

With group sizes limited to 10, there’s plenty of opportunity for personal attention and shared experiences. It’s an ideal choice for anyone looking to combine great walking with good food and warm hospitality in one of Wales’s most beautiful areas.
