Welcome to Good Day Out, Animal Experiences
Good Day Out Animal Experiences offers small-group, hands-on animal experiences across Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, designed to connect people with farming, wildlife and the landscape in a thoughtful, respectful way.
Experiences are run in tiny groups, creating calm, meaningful encounters that suit animal-loving adults, quieter children and intergenerational groups. Private sessions are available, and all experiences must be pre-booked, with locations shared after booking due to their rural settings.
Activities include Piggy Walking with a Pig-Nic in the Senni Valley, Dinky Donkey Walking along ancient green lanes, donkey agility sessions focused on positive reinforcement, and Sheep Dog Mornings where participants learn to move sheep with a trained Welsh Collie under expert guidance.
Sessions run on selected dates throughout the year, with new experiences added regularly. Whether you’re looking for a gentle countryside activity or something genuinely memorable to add to your stay, Good Day Out offers a distinctive way to experience the Brecon Beacons.
