Llandeilo Arts Trail

From 25 July to 2 August, the Llandeilo Arts Trail invites visitors to explore one of West Wales’ most creative landscapes, where artists and makers open the doors to their studios across the beautiful Tywi Valley. Set within and around Llandeilo, on the western edge of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, this nine-day celebration of art offers a unique opportunity to meet local creatives, discover their work and experience the places that inspire them.

Discover Creativity Across the Tywi Valley

Formerly known as Tywi Valley Open Studios, the event brings together 20 artists and makers working in a wide range of disciplines, including painting, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, printmaking, woodwork and metalwork. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a collector or simply curious to discover something new, the trail offers a welcoming way to experience the area’s thriving creative community.

Step Inside the Creative Process

The Llandeilo Arts Trail is much more than an exhibition. It’s a rare opportunity to visit working studios and meet the people behind the artwork. Watch demonstrations, learn about different creative techniques and gain an insight into how ideas develop from first sketches and raw materials into finished pieces.

Many studios are tucked away in converted barns, garden workshops and rural homes, each reflecting the distinctive character of the Tywi Valley. Throughout the trail you’ll find artists happy to share their inspiration, explain their creative process and talk about the landscapes and communities that influence their work.
